Letters of concern are going out this week to let parents know if their student has one or more classes that they are not passing. If you receive a letter of concern for your student, talk to them. See if there is a way that they can get their grade up to a 60% or higher by December 19 (the end of the quarter). Check their PowerSchool, it will show which assignments are missing. You can also call or email the teacher.
Please also be aware of your student's absences. Students will not receive credit in classes that have more than 4 absences in any quarter. The only exceptions are medical notes, court notes, student activities, and funerals.
